The ECA's comprehensive range of customer support services includes Periodic Technical Assessment and the unique Inspection on Demand service. By adhering to the ECA's strict code of practice, we further endorse our, and their, commitment to quality, value and safety.
The ECA undertakes a Periodic Technical Assessment of all its members to confirm that their work continues to meet the requirements of EN45011, the UKAS-accredited Electrotechnical Assessment Scheme (EAS), and it is in compliance with the scope of the scheme.
Any ECA member or client may request an Inspection on Demand, which provides an independent professional inspection of electrical installation work through the Association's established UKAS-accredited inspection body. The Inspector's report will confirm whether or not the work complies with relevant standards and indicate any rectification necessary.
Advice is also available from the Association's head office in London, where specialist staff provide information and advice to members and clients on a wide range of subjects.
